Episode 37 - Today we're talking to Rev. Dr. Miguel A. De La Torre. He is a professor of social ethics and Latinx Studies at Iliff School of Theology in Denver. A modern Amos-like prophet who speaks out against myopic American Christianity, he has published over thirty books, including Liberation Theology for Armchair Theologians and Doing Christian Ethics from the Margins. We talk about his book, Embracing Hopelessness, being raised following both Christianity and Santeria, and the unique Latinx perspective of God.
